Development of an artificial digester
We have developed a prototype artificial digester that replicates the natural conditions of the human gastrointestinal tract. It is used to simulate the digestive process and monitor how the active ingredients of a food behave in the digestion process. The prototype enables us to view how vitamins and amino acids are absorbed, evaluate to what extent encapsulated active ingredients maintain their properties, etc.

It has also sparked interest in the field of medical research.
